Overview
The Diploma in Kiswahili at St. Barnabas Business College (STBBC) equips students with advanced language proficiency, communication, translation, teaching, and cultural competencies. The programme develops students' ability to communicate effectively in Kiswahili while promoting East African integration, intercultural understanding, and professional excellence.
Students study Kiswahili grammar, literature, linguistics, translation, interpretation, communication, public speaking, and language teaching methodologies. Graduates are prepared for careers in education, media, government, business, tourism, NGOs, and international organizations.
Things You Need to Know

1. Hold the South Sudan Certificate of Secondary Education (SSCSE) or an equivalent qualification with a minimum overall score of 50%.
2. Hold the East African Certificate of Secondary Education (EACSE) or another recognized equivalent qualification.
3. Mature entry applicants may be admitted according to the College's Mature Entry Admission Policy.
4. Applicants with international qualifications recognized by the relevant education authorities are also eligible for admission.
Note: Applicants may be required to present original academic certificates and transcripts during admission and registration.
